Pilote Pacific P740GJ - "Lottie"
Bought used in 2020 she is based on a Fiat Ducato body frame. 740 is the length at 7.48m and the GJ denotes the fixed single bed arrangement at the rear.
Surprisingly easy to drive, we have enjoyed our trips away in her to-date. We have ventured to the North East of Scotland, Lincolnshire and Norfolk. She is equipped with a seperate shower and toilet area on either side of the central walkway. We use the LPG Gaslow system (permanent bottles that are just filled up from a pump connected to an external inlet) and this is half the price of having to exchange bottles. Cooking is achieved on two gas burners or one electric plate. There is also an Oven and Grill. We also have the option of a BBQ with a CADAC. She holds 120litres of fresh water and has a (Grey) waste tank capacity of 90litres. Two leisure batteries rated at 105Ah each can be charged either by electric hookup/mileage or via the 120W Solar Panel on the roof. There are numerous USB points fitted and a TV with reception via the aerial or all the digital stuff via a Firestick and our own mobile wi-fi antenna and router.

The real-time rear view camera.
The rear garage is enormous and great for taking our two electric bikes with us. There is a charging point fitted in the garage. This is also where the chairs etc get stored. See my mod below to safely secure the bikes.

2022
First trip out this year and we were off to The Barn at Beal for a couple of nights to enable us to cycle across the causeway to Holy Island. We went adventurous on the way back and cycled back over the causeway whilst it still had water across it. Got to be done.
From there, it was Northwards to Lomond Woods, Balloch, where we spent more days meeting up with family and a boat trip on Loch Lomond.
Heading South once more we were back in Northumberland at Glororum and this time cycling to Bamburgh Castle and over to Seahouses.
We went back up to Scotland again spending two days at the Royal Highland Show at Ingliston, Edinburgh, for its bicentenary event. Fans of Raymond Irvine and his Swiss Valais Blacknose which are now accredited as Highland Valais Blacknose. Great to actually meet and speak to the man himself and seen here with just one of his successes at the show. A ram which took First and then Breed Champion.
In addition we also were very close to two of the Landward TV program presenters, Dougie and Cammy doing pieces to camera at the show.
Not to be put in the shadow by the above celebs. We also managed to get on the RHS TV. Myself above the ‘Leicester’ and Lesley to my left.
Well, after much debate between us, we both agreed that with my Volunteering 3 days a week, we were not getting our money’s worth out of the motorhome, whilst she was sat on the drive more time than we would like: so, she has been sold.
